Goa Constable Exam Pattern:

Goa Police Constable exam pattern details are given below….

Exam Pattern: Goa Police Constable Examination will consist of a Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Interview.

Physical Efficiency Test: The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is a qualifying test. Candidate should undergo Physical Efficiency Test which will carry no marks but will be qualifying for further tests as follows:-

i. Male Candidates:
i. 100 metres Run in 14 seconds.
ii. Long Jump – 4.50 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (16 lbs) – 5.60 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 1.36 metres (3 chances)
v. 800 metres Run in 2.50 minutes.

ii. Female candidates:
i. 100 metres Run in 16.5 seconds.
ii. Long Jump – 3.25 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (4 kgs ) – 4.50 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 1.05 metres (3 chances)
v. 200 metres Run in 36.0 seconds.

iii. For Ex-Servicemen between 30 to 40 years (Male candidate):
i. 100 metres Run in 15 seconds.
ii. Long Jump – 4.00 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (7.26 kgs.) – 5.20 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 1.25 metres (3 chances)
v. 800 metres Run in 3.00 minutes.

iv. For Ex-Servicemen between 30 to 40 years (Female candidate):
i. 100 metres Run in 17 seconds.
ii. Long Jump – 3.5 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (7.26 kgs.) – 5.00 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 1.10 metres (3 chances)
v. 800 metres Run in 3.15 minutes.

v. For Ex-Servicemen above 40 years (Male candidate):
i. 100 metres Run in 17 seconds.
ii. Long Jump – 3.5 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (7.26 kgs.) – 5.00 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 1.10 metres (3 chances)
v. 800 metres Run in 3.15 minutes.

vi. For Ex-Servicemen above 40 years (Female candidate):
be qualifying for further tests as follows:-
i. 100 metres Run in 18.5 seconds
ii. Long Jump – 3.00 metres (3 chances)
iii. Shot Put (4 kgs.) – 4.00 metres (3 chances)
iv. High Jump – 0.90 metres (3 chances)
v. 200 metres Run in 40.0 seconds.

Written Examination: The candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be subjected to Written Examination of Secondary School Certificate Examination level. The Written Examination shall be of 85 marks. The distribution of these 85 marks shall be (i) General Knowledge – 25 marks (ii) General English – 25 marks (iii) Maths – 20 marks and (iv) Essay – 15 marks. Minimum passing marks in the Written Examination shall be 35%. No representation for re-evaluation of Written Examination paper or re-conduct of Written Examination will be entertained. The candidates who pass in Written Examination will be called for Oral Interview which shall be of 15 marks
